Proud Seahorse has just been launched following a quick paint refit. Delayed in her arrival to the yard for a couple of months due to the recent breach of the Caledonian canal embankment, owners David and Kathleen finally managed to bring her through from her winter berth in Inverness.
The work entailed repairs to the topsides gelcoat and paintwork where a winter of fender scuffing had caused damage and unsightly marks, together with a scrape off of her antifoul and a full epoxy prime prior to re-antifouling. The topsides were finished in International Perfection 709 two part polyurethane paint.
At a length of 23m Seahorse is one of the largest g.r.p. hulled yachts to have been on the Corpach Slipways recently. She is now back at her mooring in Loch Lochy ready for another season’s cruising for her live-aboard owners.
