Passenger Cruise Vessels
During the past twenty years we have seen a steady increase in the number of commercial cruise vessels coming to the yard for annual surveys, repairs, and modifications. We now have a number of regular customers returning to the yard each spring in preparation for the coming summer season including local operators from Loch Linnhe and Loch Ness and from as far away as Ullapool. Corpach Boatyard is ideally located to serve this market, lying at the head of the very sheltered Loch Linnhe and a stone’s throw from the western entrance to the Caledonian Canal.
We have undertaken many structural repairs in steel, aluminium, glass fibre and wood, and carried out a variety of engineering works to steering systems, pumps, heating and fresh water systems, sterngear and winches. More recently we have been involved in major conversions and refurbishment projects notably the conversion from a Fleet Auxiliary to the cruise boat Fyne Spirit, the conversion of the dive charter boat Poplar Voyager to a private yacht, and the re-engining and total accommodation refit of aluminium catamaran Jacobite Warrior.
