In addition to our marine works we also undertake general engineering projects utilising our experience in fabrication, welding, electrical and mechanical systems.
We also have the managerial experience to supervise complex turnkey engineering projects bringing together a number of related disciplines and working within strict Health & Safety controls.
Previous works include:- The replacement of a 30m steel gangway for S.A.M.S. at Dunstaffnage, including removing the old unit, modifications & rebuild of the concrete shore structure, fabricate, ship out & instal from seaward the new 12 tonne unit, hook up electric & water services, supply & instal cargo winch & trailer system.
The brief for this project eliminated the use of craneage to facilitate removal and replacement of the gangway structure. This was achieved utilising the rise and fall of the tidal range at the site and involved a carefully managed and controlled set of manoeuvres.
